Thursday, May 30 is Ascension Day, a feast of the church year that comes towards the conclusion of the Great Fifty Days of Easter. On this day, we tell the story of Christ rising into heaven in the sight of his disciples.
St. Columba's tradition over the past several years has been to celebrate this feast with . . . a feast! Actually, two feasts - a potluck that feeds our bellies and spirits and the Eucharist that feeds our souls.
The potluck will begin at 6 p.m., with Eucharist to follow at 7 p.m. This will be a music-filled service featuring several Eastertide anthems offered by Saint Columba's Singers.
Can you contribute something to the potluck party? (Perhaps a *heavenly* dessert?) Sign up here: https://forms.churchdesk.com/f/SkCzQYkoN
