All are invited to come and celebrate the bountiful and joyful life of Kaylene Moon.  The service is on July 16th and will begin at 1pm with refreshments to follow.  

Kaylene was a gatherer, advocate, mother, grandmother, and to everyone she met friend.  There will be a huge hole left at St. Columba's.  But as I preached on last week, all the seeds that Kaylene planted we have yet to see the full harvest from.  So as you grieve remember to also look out for all the sprouts that are yet to come from her love and nourishment in the weeks and years to come. 

Please join me in continuing to pray for Kaylene's children, grandchildren, and all of us whose hearts are broken at her passing.

O God of grace and glory, we remember before you this day our sister Kaylene. We thank you for giving her to us, her family and friends, to know and to love as a companion on our earthly pilgrimage. In your boundless compassion, console us who mourn. Give us faith to see in death the gate of eternal life, so that in quiet confidence we may continue our course on earth, until, by your call, we are reunited with those who have gone before; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
