"We are wired for tribalism and seeing the world as us vs them; Jesus tells us to not only love our neighbors, but to love our enemies! The world says it’s survival of the fittest out there; Jesus says it’s the neglected and marginalized who matter the most. We’re told to strive towards achievement and ambition, to acquire status and acclaim; Jesus says in God’s kingdom the last will be first.
