Please join us this Wednesday night, August 18 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for learning and pondering in our heart (Lk 2:19) the mystery of St. Mary, the mother of our Savior, the Bearer of God. The class will be led by Martin and Mother Meghan. 

We’ll talk about Protestant and Catholic views of Mary - and how some of them may surprise you! We’ll also look at two key moments in the life of Mary: the Annunciation, especially as it is depicted in art - and Mary’s song, the Magnificat, which we sing in paraphrase in several Episcopal hymns. We’ll also touch on feminist scholar’s ideas on Mary and explore some ways in which we might incorporate devotion to Mary into our own prayers today.
