The Celebration of Life for Bonnie Wallace will take place Saturday, June 19th at 3pm. All who plan to attend are asked to sign up here. The service will also be livestreamed on the St. Columba facebook page, and website. There will be an outdoor coffee and cookies reception time following the service, in honor of the many years Bonnie spent baking cookies for St. Columba's children on St. Nicholas Day. 

"Bonnie took great pride in being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, caring for her home, holidays, and being present for the activities and important milestones of her children and grandchildren. She had fond memories of family vacations to Hawaii, California, and road trips through most of the Western United States. As her children grew older, Bonnie worked as an administrative assistant at her beloved St. Columba's Episcopal Church and then spent 18 years in the Federal Way School District where she retired as a paraeducator.

Bonnie was a person of deep faith and St. Columba's Episcopal Church was like a second home. Bonnie and Jim were introduced to St. Columba's in the 1970s by neighbors and the church became the center of their social and spiritual lives for over 40 years. In recent years, Bonnie remained an active member of the church and was a supporter of the St. Columba's Food Bank and Memorial Garden Project."

Bonnie will be remembered for her kind, gentle, loving spirit. She was a great listener and had affection for animals, nature, reading, and children.
