Some changes have been made to our Morning Prayer service on Facebook Live. First and most importantly, we are starting at 7:30 am. The extra half-hour will give James time to get everything up and running in a more high-tech setup that will look a little more like our Sunday morning livestreams and less like wobbly cell phone video.

Inspired by ancient monastic practice, the service of Morning Prayer features the Psalms as the centerpiece of our communal prayer. Through Advent, we’ll be reading our way through about the first half of the book of Isaiah. Even with time for silence and reflection, the service lasts only 20 to 25 minutes, giving you plenty of time to get a start on the busy day ahead.
