There have been reports of emails claiming to be from "Rev Alissa Newton" asking people to reply about either "an urgent matter" or "needing your help." Some have asked the recipient to reply "discreetly" and only via email. These emails are scams, and have unfamiliar email addresses attached.

Please be aware that neither Alissa or Meghan will ever email you asking for money or help. We will not email you and ask you NOT to call us. If there is an urgent need we will call, or contact you in a legitimate way. Simply delete any email claiming to be from us that is asking for urgent help or is not from a stcolumbakent.org or one of our gmail addresses.
