St. Columba Day: June 14

St. Columba, Abbot of Iona, is the patron saint of our community, and we celebrate his feast day in June of each year. This is an occasion that we invite our friends in the Sudanese and Congolese community to join us for a celebration - and while we cannot be together in person, we hope that they will share a recorded musical offering that we might all enjoy at our 10 a.m. live-streamed worship on Facebook.

One of our traditions is to sing St. Patrick's Breastplate ("I bind unto myself today the strong name of the Trinity..."). We also sing favorite St. Columba's songs and hymns. This year, we're wondering which ones are most meaningful to you during this time that all of our lives have been turned upside-down.
