All are invited this coming Saturday, August 11th at noon, to attend the Blessing of Marriage for Agnes and David. This will be a full Kenyan wedding celebration, complete with Eucharist and the baptism of David and Agnes' son, Baraka. The Rt. Rev. Joseph Muchai, Bishop in the Anglican Church of Kenya, will perform the wedding, and The Rev. Alissa Newton, Vicar of St. Columba's, will preside at the Eucharist. 

All St. C's folks are invited to attend the ceremony, as well as the reception which will follow, at the Best Western Plus in Federal Way. If this is your first time attending a Kenyan wedding, come and experience and learn! The ceremony will feature Kenyan music and traditions, and the reception will include more singing, dancing, and traditional Kenyan customs. Gifts are welcome and appropriate, but not required.
