This Sunday we celebrate Pentecost - the day the first disciples of Jesus were given the gift of the Holy Spirit, and experienced speaking about God in ways that all around heard, in their own languages. 

We mark this day with the color red, which is the color of the Holy Spirit, the color of fire, and just a pretty fun color. Our church will be decked out in red, and it's fun if congregants get in on it by also wearing red. While, as usual, there is no formal dresscode at St. Columba's, everyone is invited to get in on the fun and wear red if you've got it! Group selfie in our reds after the 10am service.
