Official Meeting on Sunday, March 3rd a 10am & 12:15pm - Child care provided.
As everyone is aware there has been a rising cost in groceries. Costs for food bank groceries have gone from around $115 a week to closer to $275. St. Columba's is going to take the season of Lent to discern what as a community we can sustain, recognizing that food ministry is an important part of our identity at St C"s.
If we are going to continue to be open weekly we need people to commit monthly (or give one time donations) that is equal to $14,000 yearly. We currently receive around $6,000 as regular giving and then a lot of one off amounts here and there.
In order to feel comfortable to remain open we would like to know we can count on funding $275 a week through the end of the year.
