Updates on our Building: North Parcel & Trees

Update number 1 -

The diocese is selling our north parcel.  You may have not even known that we have a north parcel, but we do!  Currently, we do not use in any way, shape, or form.  We have a building loan with the diocese from when this building was originally built. Together with the diocese, the Bishop's Committee and myself, have come to the conclusion that the north parcel should be sold to pay down (hopefully off) our current loan that we have with them.

If you are interested in more details about the north parcel check out a Land Use Study that Nate Chapman put together in 2022 by clicking here.

Update number 2 -

The trees that are right next to our building are too close to the foundation and the tree roots keep causing issues with our foundation.  We have been advised to remove the trees.  This will happen in November, most likely the second week of November.  There also some dead birch trees around the property that will also be removed.

If you have questions or concerns about either of these items please talk to myself or anyone on the Bishops Committee.

with care,

Meghan
