Dear Friends,

Our wedding day was perfect!  We are grateful for everything you did to make it go beautifully and smoothly.  It was a huge group effort, and there are more than a few of you we'd like to publically acknowledge.

Karen Francisco and Pam Gibbons shared in coordinating duties and organized teams of people for setting up and taking away rented folding chairs, making coffee hour a reality, and cleaning up afterward.  If you were on one of their teams, thank you!

Stephen Olfert cooked enough pulled pork and pulled beef to feed an army, and Amanda Hobson baked our wedding cake from Grandma Rita's recipe.  There were others who brought food as well, and we appreciate anyone who helped keep everyone's belly satisfied.

Portia Smith arranged the beautiful flowers which were captured in a few of the pictures taken by Charissa Lind who worked without a break for about three hours.  Alana Hammer served as our vocalist, and Mike Cunningham worked the soundboard, together making it possible for both of us to not work on our wedding day.

And thanks also go to any and all of you who smiled, shook hands, hugged, or otherwise made our outside-of-church friends and family feel welcome.  Your generosity of spirit allowed some who would not otherwise come to church to experience an undeniably loving faith community.

Our hearts were full of joy in seeing so many of you here to celebrate this important day.  How delighted and privileged we were to be married at our church home on a Sunday morning!  We ask for your continued prayers as we begin this phase of our relationship.

We will always remember this uplifting liturgy and celebration and those who shared it with us.  You are truly family to us.
