Dear Ones of St. Columba's,

 Due to both rising COVID rates in King County and a number of people in our St. C's community recently testing positive, I have made the decision that we will require masks this Sunday for our worship services.  Community spread is such that it feels like the safest decision to make for the protection and well being of all of us.  

 Masks will be available in the entryway Sunday for those who need them. I expect we will return to masking optional as soon as this current surge has passed, and perhaps as soon as next week. As we move into the next phase of COVID, I expect there will be times when we require masks and times when they are optional, depending on what is happening with the virus. 

Friends, this is not my favorite thing to think about, do, or decide! I know it's hard on many of us as we weigh risks in both directions around masks and interpersonal interactions. I'm grateful we can struggle through together.
